Is is a coil spring set up? If you were closer I would give you one I have out of my 67.

Re: question about rear ends

It`s probably leaf, right? It it was coil I may know why it`s gone. The GMCs had a tough little Dana60 6-lugger that`s the toughest rear you can bolt into the coil-rear trucks.Leaf was standard on GMCs with coils an option. The opposite for Chevys. If you have trailing arms(coil)you can bolt any 67-72 coil rear in.If you have leafs you can bolt any 67-72 rear in.You can use later GM 12-bolts but will need to relocate the spring perches for leaf or coil and provide mounting for the track bar.

Let's get specific---1/2 ton or 3/4?? 2wd or 4x4?? Coil or leaf? You can bolt anything to anything but if you want it to work well, well----what is your truck?
