I am thinking about dropping my 1/2 ton 2in in the front and 4in in the back. Does any one have a pic of there truck with this stance? and can I use my stock spindles and control arm with a shorter spring to drop my front end?

Yes you can. I'm running 2" springs and dropped spindles on my 71. There's no reason you couldn't run the 2" spring alone.

2" springs in front, 1 leaf removed in the rear, monroe sensatrac shocks all around...rides good.

GMC70c20,... I like using the "stance photos" from ECE. (Early Classic Enterprises) This will show you what each drop will look like. Just remember,... when changing your OLD front springs for NEW drop springs,... you might not end up 2" lower. Most likely your springs are sagging at least 1" now.
