Does anyone know what the difference in width is between a pre 71 and 71-72 rear axle?

The 70 , 12 bolt diff should be the same width as the 71-72, so axles will be swapable. I beleive the 67-69 diffs are 1 1/2" narrower ........not positive on that figure, but im sure somebody has the 'square dope" on that. :bowtie:
