caliper on drop spindle wont fit?
 
I need help the freaking caliper does not what to go in i've tried everything i even took the rotor off to see if it was the rotor but still wont fit the hard brake line is hitting the spindle. The spindles are DJM and the calipers are stock.

did you check to see if you had the 1" or 1-1/4" inch brake rotors before you bought the spindles?

yea i have the right rotor size is just the caliper wont fit on it it looks like the brake line is hitting the spindle by the upper ball joint thing i dont have my came with me but thats whats happining. I'm going to try to search if it happened to anyone else.

Is it posible you swapped sides with the calipers?

all right guys i did a search on here and found out others had the same problem :confused: well anyways all they did was bent the brake line or some of them just baught new stainless steel brake lines. I'm going to try to bend it and see if it works. I help it works, i need to drive this to work tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Tweak the steel part of the brake line. I have to do that every time. I don't know why the manufacturer of the spindle doesn't put that in their instructions.

ah, I was confused a little. I had that same problem, a little bendy bendy, all fixed.

yea i bent the hard part of the brake line and it work yea :metal: my truck looks badazz i spent like the whole day trying to figure it out now i need to do the other side.Only thing is that i dont have light and its freaking cold and i need my truck for work tomorrow. Do y'all think I'll be alright driving with one stock spindle and one drop spindle for a few days?

Aside from lookin goofy and riding wierd, it may track a lil off, but it shouldn't hurt any pieces.

i just have to add a little more air pressure to one side so it could look even because when i lift it one side looks lower but yea i test drove it around the block and it was alright.
