Spindles rub. Can't find answer.
Hey all, I just finished putting on 2.5 drop spindles from Bell tech on the '68. i have a 73-87 front crossmember with disc brakes. I am running 15 x 8 truck ralleys. The problem I have is the lower control arm wants to rub on the inside of the wheel. I know this has been discussed before, but I tried a search and can't seem to find the answer. Should I use a spacer or just grind off part of the bottom edge of the lower control arm? It won't take much too clear the wheel. It is just enough to stop rotation though. Any advice is always appreciated!!
Thanks, Shawn |

Get your grinder out & trim the edge down on the LCA. It only takes about 5 minutes to do.

Re: Spindles rub. Can't find answer.
I think grinding a bit off of the lca will work. mine spindles rubbed the wheel weights (mounted inside) of my Corvette rallyes. I ground the lca a tad bit and it took care of it. nice.
