BACKSPACING for 20's?
 
I plan to run 20x8 & 20x9.5 intro segters on my truck,i wanna know the the backspacing i should choose to fit proper with air bags(future) with a 4x6 ECE drop? It should look like this...

I just got a 68 c-10 and really want to bag it and am trying to make sure i know as much as posible before i start buying parts.

I want to put 24s on the back and 22s in the front on bags. If not that 20s and 22s what direction can you point me in so i will know what im going to have to look out for? Anyones help would be great.

I think if you're going to go that big, you will have to modify the bed floor/fender wells, and you might have to remove the front inner fenders. There's a few members that are running 22's so while searching keep your eye open for that as well.

yeah, i know that im going to have to do that but as far as backspacing goes im not to sure. i dont want to go spent money on wheels that wont even tuck. thanks though.

You need to measure your own truck to ensure the BS is right; everything else is just a guess.

I been doing alottah reasearch myself & this guy has a ford 9' rear.
when u change the rear u get mo outer lip.(i guess)

A narrower rearend will allow for a larger dia. wheel. At a show last year, there was a guy that was running a Lincoln Continental rear end in a '68, to gain an inch for the 22's he was running out back. According to him he wasn't going to have to modify the beds/fender wells.
