What is Cheyenne equipment?

I have a '72 Chevy. I looked at the codes on the glovebox and it lists "Cheyenne Equipment". Does this mean it is a Cheyenne, or just some added options? If just options, what are they?

Thanks

It is a Cheyenne. I have a 72 Cheyenne Super and mine says Cheyenne Super Equipment on the listing. Far as I know, the Cheyenne option only included wood stickers on everything and scrolling on the seat. Unfortunately mine didn't come with the tach or a/c which is common on the Cheyenne's.

Re: What is Cheyenne equipment?

Cheyenne package was option package. Many did not have a/c or tach, tilt bb or other big ticket items. Cheyenne package(z84) included wood grained lower moldings, wood grained door panels, cheyenne badging, cargo lamp, door activated lights, headliner, fender shields (between fender and door- rubber pieces) and bright molding around windshield and rear window and bright vent windows, chrome front bumper, carpet, woodgrained tailgate band and cigar lighter I think, everything else was optional, you just picked what you wanted. On supers (package ye9) you got houndstooth on bench seats, special badging on fenders, vinyl only on buckets, bright tailgate latch cover, full wheel covers, wood grained dash and glove box with badging as well as options included in cheyenne package z84. So theoretically you could have a super with 6 cylinder no ps or pb or air in stepside- both packages trim only buyer picked what they wanted to pay for or dealer ordered what would sell in their particular area.

Thanks for the info! That makes sense. I thought I had seen somewhere Cheyenne's had wood beds and mine does not. That was the main thing confusing me.
