Help with rear axle decoding
 
I am looking at a 76 Blazer rear axle and it all measures the same width drum to drum and on the perches. I think its a 3.08 gear. The axle tube says "KAR". I posted this on the 73-91 Blazer and 73-87 Truck forums but got no help.
