Fire sale advice, not a what's it worth.

5 Attachment(s)
First installment of property taxes are coming due so I need to lighten my load of projects.:waah: This is my question: Is it better to sell my lightly charred truck as a whole or in pieces? It's a long story about the melted parts.
The truck is a 71, Custum-10 deluxe, 97k miles before Pompeii. A/C, disc brakes, V8, auto, Rhino Liner in a straight bed, no engine or trans. California salvage title.

Thanks for any input, advice, or funny comments. Life is harsh enough, lets laugh a little while we can.
Jay (too many projects, not enough cash)

Yes, that is a bunge cord on the door to keep the bodies form falling out.

Your "lightly charred" truck???

Wow, kinda looks like the Human Torch from the Fantastic 4 was driving and had a seizure...

Hard to say what to do even though the rest of the truck looks like it's still in pretty good shape. If you didn't have so many projects already going on, I would say keep it, but I am sure you could replace it for the amount the damage would end up costing you to fix. Maybe keep it as a parts truck for another project...

Hey Don,
Your brown dog looks smarter than mine.

We think someone's crack pipe might have gotten a little too bright as they were looking for things to take with them in the early morning hours.:smoke: When I got up to go to work, my windows were tinted and the truck was warmed up.

you'll get more for the parts

but it will take you longer to get it. unless you find the one person in a billion that just has to have your truck.
just my 20 cents worth.

i'd try for a quick cheap all-in one sale//parting out is firstoff alot of work, the front clips and doors and tailgate go quick then your faced with storing the rest sometimes for years and you really dont see that much money for it in the long run tires and rims can b sold quick too but unleess you have others to roll it on then its stuck in place// and as far as doing anything to fix enhance the value it's pretty much a waste of valuble time as tax deadlines are pretty well fixed and approaching RAPIDLY

That's a clean truck...but the fact that it has never been smoked in moot point now.

I'm wondering it would be better to gut the interior, and have it soda blasted? Then it would look allot more appealing to someone.
the doors look good on the outside, how about the firewall? (no pun intended)

Thanks for the replies and sage advice. Next step is Craig's List.
