it means that if any member from this board wants it that we would get preference maybe better price or something, I think is cool of him to offer that.

Not sure I understand. There is no "preference" when it comes to an auction ... highest bidder wins.

Absolutely, it's nice to see people from this forum willing to help each other so freely. Especially when I'm sure most of us have never met.

I'm willing to bet, if he's contacted by one of us he would consider it like some do as a local sale and pull the auction and sell it to one of us rather than someone on eBay.

I was going to say the same thing. In an auction situation, it's pretty clear. Maybe, as Dylan said, he meant to say that he reserves the right to end the auction early for a board member.
