Engine conversion questions

i have a 1970 Chevy C-10 1/2 ton 2wd with a 350 and automatic trans. I am planning to pull the 350 out and put a 396 Big Block in it. What all will I need to do to make the conversion work well so the truck is relaible. I know i need a Big Block radiator, Turbo 400 tranny but after that im clueless if I need anything else. any suggestions would be appreciated. PS: im only doing the big block conversion because the 350 needs a total overhaul and the 396 is ready to go.

Re: Engine conversion questions

you looking to just shove it in there, or you looking to do it like it came with it there?
