body bracing

im going to be taking the body off my 70k5 to start the work on the chassis, do i still need to brace the body if i have the top and the doors on. If so what is the best and "right" way to do it.

Re: body bracing

A lot depends on what kind of condition the tub your pulling off is in.

If it's good, no worries, if it's all shaky and moving around, brace.

If you want to save weight when removing the tub, pull off the doors.
They do more harm than good for your tub alignment.

Lastly, take measurements.
Know what your starting with so you can finish with the same dimensions. ;)
