headliner trim template-FREE

several years ago i junked a 72 cheyenne cab and i cut out the inner skin of the cab about 3 inches larger than the headliner so i would have a template for the trim holes. i never used it but would like to give it to someone local if they can use it. it would cost way too much to ship so it's local pick up only. it's destined for the scrap bin if no-one is interested.
FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE.

I could use this and will be down for the Nor-Cal meet on the 17th. Any chance you're going to that or are you close enough for me to swing by???

FYI, he is about 85 miles South East of where the meet is.

Which Brentwood? The LA area Brentwood, or the one near Disvovery Bay? I'm near the Disovery Bay (Contra Costa County) Brentwood.
Put me in line...very interested.

Re: headliner trim template-FREE

Thanks, Jerry. I got your address and phone number. I'll be down before noon on Sunday. Between 9 and 12 if that's ok. I'll give you a buzz when I'm nearby. If you don't answer, I'll just swing by and get it from the trailor. Thank you SOOO much for the generosity. I'll use it and offer it back up here.

I'll be at the swap meet in Turlock, California http://www.turlockswapmeet.com/ this month. If you're coming down this way Brad, I'll be there. If not, I'll offer it to whoever else needs it.

70longorncst,
dont mean to hijack, but where will you be at the swap meet ? I will be there
I'll have to stop by to say hello. The Turlock swap meet has been smaller and smaller as far as vendors lately... but still lots of good stuff there.

Where is the Nor-Cal meet held at? Is there a link available to learn more about it? Thanks

Re: headliner trim template-FREE

As far as the swapmeet goes, I will be mostly shopping around, but I often hang out with either my brother-in-law at his space, or a friend a few spots down. They are located along the north-eastern fence...I forget the name of the road that runs along the fence.

The template may be duplicated, as that is my goal. I will try and post the info if successful. If not, I'll see when we can meet up somewhere and pass off the template to you, and then to whoever is wanting it next.

Richard,
it's 8:30 on sunday morning and i put the template piece in my trailer for you. we have to run some errands this morning so i'll be in and out and not sure i'll be here when you show up. feel free to grab it.

70LonghornCST 01-11-2009 05:49 PM

Re: headliner trim template-FREE

Jerry,
Thank you VERY MUCH for passing this template on to me. I left a couple of trim pieces in your trailer that were in very good shape as a gesture of thanks. Maybe you can use them. If not give them to someone who can. I did not want to ship them and couldn't bring myself to throw them away.

I will use the template soon and try to make a template on paper. If successful, I'll post it online for all of those across the states and beyond. As far as the actual metal template, I'll post it for Brad 1st, then whoever is next in line who wants to pick it up.

Thanks again, Jerry!

Thanks again,

Re: headliner trim template-FREE

Richard,
glad you can use the template and hopefully other members can use it after you finish with it. i'll check out the pieces you left as soon as possible--after our weekly shopping expedition today i had to repair my toilet. four trips to ACE finally got it up and running again. if i can't use the trim i'll give it to someone who can. a big THANK YOU.
there is a gentleman close to you that has a BUNCH of 67-72s. he's out in waterford. he has somewhere close to 30 or more of our trucks and lots of rare option goodies-a factory 8-track kit, umpteen sets of tow hooks, tilts, tachs, speedwarnings, am/fm's, buddybuckets and regular buckets, etc. he doesn't sell anything and buys everything he can find. he's got more short 4x4's than anyone i know.
along with a few blazers and 2wds thrown in for good measure.

So will you be able to make to the meet with this? Any chance of me getting it or not?

Hi Brad! I am going to the swap meet for sure. The swap meet I am going to is on January 23rd & 24th in Turlock, CA. Is this the one you are calling the Northern Ca swap meet? If so, I have already used the template and am ready to pass it off to you. I live in Hughson CA, which is between Sacramento and Fresno...or, 15 minutes from Turlock, which is where the swapmeet I will be going to. I can take it there on Saturday the 23rd if you are going. Let me know.
Richard

Wow, that swap meet is quite a way from me. Is anyone near Hughson or Turlock area going to the Northern CA swapmeet on Saturday who can pick this up for Brad?
Please let me know.

Re: headliner trim template-FREE

70LonghornCST, just so we're all on the same page, I'm referring to the Nor Cal board gathering on the 17th as Wilson pointed out, not any swap meet.
