Drop spindle ?

Ok guys, I'm sick of it!! Sick of looking at that beautiful bare frame sitting in my driveway and nothing happening to it!!! The time has come. This thing is getting started right now.

Now, the point:

Anybody used Classic Performance Product's 2.5 Drop spindles? ANy issues? Good quality? FOr 239$ they r the cheapest I have found on the net so far. ANy opinions, notes, 2cents would be great guys. Thanks. I might note they are for a 69 C-10 I know they have a few different drop spindles listed.

Oh, p.s. I have some stuff off the truck I will probably be giving away i.e. drum brake setup and what not like that. the gas tank, stuff I'm replacing with updated equipment. Would I need to join to list the stuff as free?? Not a big deal if I do this site is AMAZING and it's worth my Mr. Jackson to join I just don't want to break any rules.

I would join regardless. It's nice to support a forum that is going to be supporting your truck habbit. You'll find yourself researching stuff alot I'm sure.

On the spindles. I guess everyone will have there opinions. I used CPP parts on my 69 when I swapped to discs and lowered it. I honestly had ZERO problems with anything. Everything seemed nice and worked great. This time, I used Early Classic Enterprises and there stuff is top notch.:metal: Great parts and great service make for a less stressfull build. Good luck.

I bought my drop spindles from CPP for my 72. Zero problems here. They are manufactured by Western suspension (USA made)

CPP has sketchy customer service people say, but it wasn't too bad for me. Would have liked a shipping confirmation from them when my rotors were ordered, but oh well.

When I was comparing rotors, I e-mailed brothers as to why their product was worth more money, they only cited that the CPP rotors weren't made in the USA, but said nothing about the quality being better.

Not trying to bash CPP, but Mike is the cheapest I have found out of about 20 sites.

Hey 69C10@16,... welcome from another Missouri member.
I think CPP has great products,... and POOR customer service. That's what I got from them. Look at the review board for threads about CPP. I would suggest ECE, (Early Classic Enterprises) Call and talk to Stan.
Good Luck.

ok the early classic enterprises is the website i was looking for that I could NOT remember the name to this morning. lol. Have ordered from them before and had an error but they were extremely fast and friendly in correcting their mistake. These are most likely going to be the ones I purchase. Thanks! And this time I'll bookmark the ECE Website.

X2, I used the same spindle, sourced for Performance Online (POL). If you haven't already, you might want to check with them, I think they are cheaper than CPP.
