Autozone drop shocks?
 

Does anyone have a part number or application for off-the-shelf shocks that will work for 5-6 inch rear drop? I put ECE's airbag setup on the rear of my burb, but the KYB shocks are terrible. I have gone into Autozone before and sifted through to find the length I needed for a dropped truck before, but all of their shocks are in sealed boxes now.

What`s terrible about the KYBs?They are a very high quality shock,unlike what Autozone would offer.There are several other choices in between.

They seem to be too soft for the heavy burb. Also, with the airbags it sure does rock alot in the back now. I was thinking some stiffer shocks and a swaybar would really help the ride quality.

Ok,this is a `Burb.I remember body-roll quite well from the`71 I had.Doesn`t KYB still make Gas-A-Justs?Does rancho make RSX9000s for lowered vehicles?They are great on my 4wd `91 Suburban.They are 9-position adjustable with a knob.I just use both extremes for ride or weight.Set on the tight setting while empty they ride like a rock.With weight they ride great.On the other end they ride great empty.

I love KYB's:metal: The white Gas-adjusts are much firmer than the silver colored GR-2's. Which ones do you have?? I run the firm ones.
