Considering how hard it is to find 67 Step fenders I would say its a good deal. Rust free is always a plus too.

In your area that's a steal (assuming it really is rust free.)

I paid $300 for a set of rust free 67 rear fenders.

I have a step short bed w/out the spare tire fender though I would like a fleet bed. That being said I would ask $450.00 for mine. It is in such great shape though, I'll keep it, But that's what I would ask.

That`s the best price you`ll ever find.I sold a clean`67 original paint fender for $300 last summer.I`ve found bed for $300 in Texas.Shipping was $500+/- and that was before Katrina.

3 bills is a sweet deal if it is just a useable bed... let alone a restorable one.

That's a smokin deal. I paid 4 bills for mine and I live in the land of "no rust". It had some minor rust... and I doubt very much any "stock" piece of sheetmetal from 67-72 has no rust.

Ha, ha, I guess that I shoudn't have sold two 67 fenders plus a 68 and two beds for $100! See what wives can do to you?

Re: what's a good price for a step bed

Sounds like a good deal to me. I don't need another one and I would pay that for one for a future project or investment.

I bought a rust/dent free '68 step-side bed with a tailgate from a guy in St. Louis for $500. All it needs is a paint job and bed wood. All the dents have been removed, it is primed and wet sanded.

He brought it down to me when he picked up a cab from us.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed

good bed.. paid $2.75 rust free with one dent the size of a quarter on right fender, wood gone but strips are there, tail gate is alittle ruff but rust free.the only bad thing is it's a 68 not a 67 but i can deal with that

ps what is the diffrence between a 68,69,70,71,72 s/step? the marker lens has 68 on them

Actually, those won't work on stepside fenders. They're "bumped out" around the light, so you'd have to actually cut the whole area out, then weld in a patch, as far as I know, the pre cut plates only fit into the light hole.

275 sounds like a heck of a deal. You've already said the only difference... the side markers, just cut em out and patch 'em in and you've got a 67 bed :D
