15x9 wheels?
 

Does anyone know who makes 15x9 wheels? I can't find them anywhere. 15x10 is too wide for a 275/60-15, so I thought 9" wide would be perfect for that tire.

Or is there anyone that can widen the factory 15x8 ralleys to 9" wide?

I know there are some places that can widen you wheel, but I don't know of a name of one right off hand. Seems like a lot of work for an inch. I've had 275/60 on both 8 and 10 inch wheels. They looked, and worked fine. That is just my opinion though. I know everyone has different looks that they like.

So, why not run them on the 8" wheel again? I am sure that you can find a set of Rally Wheels in a 15x9 online. Or, like you said have yours widened. But if the tires you want to run fit fine on 8" wheel, why not use them?

I feel the same way. I have searched and searched. I don't think any are available. And nobody is gonna widen or narrow a steel wheel. I know that sucks, but I think your best bet is to go with a 7" and 8" setup to get the desired affect. That or pay premium for tires from Coker (called the silvertown I think), or Mickey Thompson, or Hoosier make so-called street tire that will fit the 10" rim.

I think these trucks need more than an 8" wheel IMO. Especially in the back. And I love the look of a deep dish 10" wheel. Or even a 9" one and they would work on a 275/60-15 tires, but 10" wheels bulge that size a little too much.

So far these are my plans:

Front: 245/60-15 on a 15x8
Rear: 295/50-15 on a 15x10

Both tires are about 26.8" tall.

I'd like to stay around 28" tall with the tires, but there are no tires that tall that fit an 10" wheel.

Either that or I might just go 275/60-15 all around on my 8" ralleys.

I say, buy the wheels FlamingBig10 found at Summit. Good looking choices and they have the sizing you want.

Unless I am missing something I think the OP asked about widening the factory rally wheels (non aluminum), or am I crazy?

You can do 325/50/15 drag radials on 15x10's.

However, that setup isn't practical for everyday use. Normally I do 275/60/15 all around with 15x8 rims, basically what you see on the front. The sidewall profile looks great on that rim width, in my opinion anyway.

Just trying to help 74Silv4x4. I would imagine that if somebody could do it, one of those guys in one of those threads can.
Iirc, there may have been one guy I talked into doing it. But, they wouldn't have widened one, they would narrow one of there NEW ten inch wheels that they make. I think total cost would have been like $300 per wheel. That may have been Stockton. And I really didn't want to say, but I've looked into Stockton, and read just terrible things about orders waiting and excuses, and 2 weekin' people to death. Look it up, it's all over the place.

I have 275/60/15s on 8" rims, no problem and no bad wear issues either. I have even run 295/50/15s on 8"ims and there are no issues there.

No biggie, I thought I was loosing my mind for a minute. Stockton widened a set for me several years ago at $125 per wheel and I didn't have any problems but that was about probably like 1999 or so. . .
