MB Old School Wheels?

Does anyone know if these will fit a 71 C-10 5 lug? I am looking for a 20" rim with 245/45/20's. Does anyone have any thoughts on this combo? I believe these wheels have +7mm offset. I currently have a set of 96 Impala 17" rims with 255/55/17 I think.

I actually like the 245/40/20's. I think I read somewhere that these wheels are the Coys C-55's with a different center cap.

the 245/40/20's would look good. you can see them on ATP's shop truck here... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=343061 as far as backspacing etc. I would take the truck to discount and have one of the managers measure the backspace for your truck, and take the guesswork out of the picture. the 5 x5 pattern is the 5 x 127mm so they will fit for sure. however i would have them measure and order, then test fit, any issues they correct for you.. good luck.

Hey Shannon, they sure look like coys.I`ve never messed with them, but if they are Coys,or made the same, they need clearancing to fit properly on the 71/72 disc break hubs.

Those wheels look good,,,,, exactly what tim said I had to round off my front hubs to clear the center cap on my coys....
18x8 up front and 20x10 in te rear no issues....

Big Al 71 - Do you have any more pics? Those are the Coy C-5's right? What is the back spacing on those? I think I can get the MB wheels with a set of 245/40/20's for $1350 mounted balanced, and shipped.

My wheels are MB Gunner 5. I ordered 1 and test fit it before I ordered the set mounted and balanced. The phone line for tires.com couldnt tell me any specs on them when I called. They fit fine without any mods the only option is 8.5 width though. I have purchased 3 sets from MB and all have a crap finish on them. They look good out of the box but look at the 2nd pic the set on my daily driver and less than 1 year old the clear coat you can scrape off with your fingernail.

I appreciate the information. That is probably why they are $100 cheaper than tyhe Coys

I dont know where coys are made but mb is made in china. I also had a set of American Racing wheels that were chrome and they were pitting after a year also. I think with the popularity of aftermarket wheels in the past few years the quality has gone way down hill to make the cheaper and cheaper. The set I put on my project truck I think will look fine for a long time because they wont see the wear and tear an everyday driver gets.

Yeah, my truck is just a weekend driver. I try not to take it out too much when the weather is bad. I'll have to decide what I want to do

Aftermarket chrome wheels have never been known to hold up long as long as I`ve been driving, unless you`re in the arid SW.The same is true with pretty much anything chrome, other than factory.
