Rookie Question
So the passenger door on my burb is being held on by rust
having trouble findin a door and came a across a 72 c10 or 20 not to sure but long story short will the passenger door from the truck fit on my burb? |
Re: Rookie Question
No it will not fit. If you look at the top of the door you will see that on the suburban it is pretty much a 90 angle as it runs from the top the backside.
When you look at the truck door it is rounded off.. Here is the truck door...http://www.brotherstrucks.com/images/DOOR_A.JPG And here is the Suburban door.... http://www.brotherstrucks.com/images/DOOR72-SB.jpg See the Difference? You can buy complete replacement doors. I think I found these pics at Brothers. |
Re: Rookie Question

Re: Rookie Question
you could make it work if you switched out the window frames
|
Re: Rookie Question
how hard would that be technially its just the bottom and hinge thats messed up
|
Re: Rookie Question
i have never done it but it doesnt look like it would be that hard (and i could be wrong), but maybe a couple of spot welds could be holding it on. if so it cant be to bad.

Re: Rookie Question
Yep,
couple of spot welds and it comes right out. Smitty |
