Guage unit removal
 

Hey,

Im working on my truck right now, i want to take the dash pad off to do that i need to take the guage cluster off and paint it ... Again i dont want to break anything :lol: so how do i take the wiper and light buttons off?

Yeah, read that thread first. It saves alot of swearing. I had the vise grips out for the headlight switch and then happened to search this forum and saw the magic button to release. It was too late for the choke cable though and that came out real fast with the vise grips......:gmc2:

Definitely check the FAQ's before you do anything if you are unsure. I know it has helped me. I have said it plenty of times that this forum is the best I have ever been a part of. Lots of knowledge and experience on here.

Sweet man, you putting in new gauges? Repainting the bezel?
