doug thorley header question
Here is the part #THY-372Y-C I've been looking at. It's a tri-Y header with ceramic coating. Any thoughts on this. Says it's a idle to 4500 rpm range, do they have a longpipe version of these for mid to high rpm? Anybody running this header, if so how's the performance? By the way this will be on a 70 C-10 350 with manual trans.

Re: doug thorley header question
The tri-ys are perfect for the application you are running. Even with a stock to decent cam, you will have good bottom end torque. Why do you want midrange to hi-rpm power band? Unless you are going to be racing in that upper RPM band. The full-length headers do offer better upper RPM torque, but at a loss of torque from 1200-4500 rpms.
