Auto Linkage Question

Teeitup has a truck he is parting on the parts board. It has a TH350 transmission. The trans I found for my truck is a TH400. My question is are the linkages for the transmissions the same? If they are different, what are the differences? Does anyone have pics to compare the two?

I don't think there is a difference in the transmission linkage on the 2WD trucks, whether it is a 350 or a 400. IIRC, the linkage is different if you have a 4WD truck. Someone will post a pic to verify, I am sure.

Re: Auto Linkage Question

The pivot point on the frame is different and the 350 will not line up with the 400 trans unless you drill new holes in the frame. The rod and the connection between the trans and pivot are the same. The 4x4 uses a different pivot point and a different rod to connect.
