Re: DANA 60's
they came in all big block 3/4 ton trucks, so they were in 68 - 72, and I'm willing to bet a kick to the daddy parts that some 67s got them too.

Re: DANA 60's
I`m not sure, they were in 67-72 I believe. There were a rare few 6-lugs optioned in 1/2Ts.The Dana was offered in 3.54:1 so that`s why the difference.

Re: DANA 60's
Most commonly found under 8 lug coil early Suburban's, many think they did not exist, I have one and have seen others.

Re: DANA 60's
Since you have a c-20, you are probably interested in the 8 lug Dana 60. It was a crap shoot, you really dont know what you'll find under a 3/4 ton Chevy from 68-72, unless it was a BB, which had a 3.54 Dana standard. I would say most coil 3/4 tons used eatons while most leaf spring 3/4 tons used Dana. but not the rule. The real question is why did GM use both brands with the same ratios (4.10 vs. 4.11) and (4.56 vs 4.57)? The mystery ended in '73 when Chevy stopped using both and went with there own "corporate" 3/4 ton rear end.

Re: DANA 60's
Were the 1/2 ton D60s c-clip style or retainer bearing style? And how hard would it be to find one?
