WTB: Tach Tin (Front/Rear)

Just as the title read, I'm looking for a set of tach tins (front/rear). Not looking for a hacked set of original non-tach tins, but the real deal.

If you have a set you would like to sell, please post a few pics of your items as we all the price/shipping.

Thanks in advance!
Nate

Re: WTB: Tach Tin (Front/Rear)

With vac/air pressure gauge hole or without?

Eh.... let's see what everyone has. :D

At the moment and time I'm mainly looking for tins w/o the extra vac/air holes, but that doesn't mean I'd turn them away.

GMC Paul has them very reasonable if you do not find any. They are after market and very heavy gauge. I was impressed with them.

The aftermarket ones actually work perfectly.

Thanks for the info on the repop tach tins guys, I will probably end up getting to that point. Just wanted to see if anyone had some laying around. :D

Re: WTB: Tach Tin (Front/Rear)

Do you have a price in mind on these? Question is, would it be worth taking apart marginal quality tach dashes for the tins? Thanks, Sharpie

Re: WTB: Tach Tin (Front/Rear)

Sharpie I could be interested in a complete dash, but the the lense/circuit panel/tins/gauges would have to be in real nice shape. Post a pic of what you've got either whole or parted and we can see what we come up with. :D

Thanks!
Nate

I have a set of OEM that I bought for a conversion. How much are the repros?I`ll work on getting pictures of condition. They should be very nice.I prolly paid too much for them, but will try to work something out.

Re: WTB: Tach Tin (Front/Rear)

Jake, thank you for the offer, and if I can't locate another complete set, I will definitely consider the rear tins you have. I didn't think I would have such an issue locating the tins, but apparently these are a little more difficult to come by. If I can't locate a complete set, I will be in touch. Not many people piece out their complete tach dashes. :D

Thanks again Jake!

Tim, I think that's my other problem... I haven't been able to locate an aftermarket supplier which will sell just the tins themselves, only a complete kit (lense, tach, harness, circuit panel, tins..). Whatever you can come up with Tim, post/email some pics and we'll see if we can work something out.

Thanks Tim!

Nate, I am pretty sure most parts suppliers sell just the tins. GMC Pauls has a set listed on their site for $45. It's part number 196703 and is located on this page: http://www.gmcpauls.com/instrument_panel.htm
