same cam or bigger?
 
almost sure i have a flat lobe on my cam, so im going to yank it and probably replace it.
here is what i have now

Well, heck, why replace it with the same thing? GO BIGGER, DUDE! Set it up so it won't idle below about 4000 RPM! Ok, maybe not... I had a pretty radical cam in mine and it was actually very driveable. With the stick shift, the only thing I had to do was clutch in a little sooner when slowing down or it would start to buck back and forth, but that was below about 800 RPM.

Cams these days I'm convinced are just more tolerable than they used to be. Let us know the outcome. I'm waiting to hear about pulling your trailer at 65 at half throttle up the side of a mountain... Good luck!

well the one i have now isnt running right. it may be enough but, ill prob do something else

I’m having the same problem with my motor. I’m debating on rebuilding my motor with a roller cam instead of a flat tap cam. It would help with flat lobes but it was cost a little more. I think it would probably be worth it. What you think?
