1 Ton Wheels

Hello All

Newbee Here, this is my first Post

Have been looking at the site, It looks very interesting to say the least.

I have a 69 1 Ton Chevy Chassis that has had the Frame streached 18"

I am planing on making a Car Hauler out of it, and am planing on adding a 3rd axle to it for the weight and handeling with another vehicle on top.

One problem is that the chassis has 16" Split Rims on it, I have been looking for other 16" Tubeless wheels but I have not had very good luck on finding them.

It seems that the Tubless wheel center pilot hole is of a larger size than the original wheels and the wheel studs are also larger and longer.

Does anyone know of an application or vehicle type that will have the 16" Tubeless wheels that will fit the older hubs??

I don't want to have to go the custom wheel route right now, but I may if I can't find the steel wheels I need for the tubless tires.

Thanks for any help, In Advance

the hub diameter is the same through the 80's and into the 90's. The lug nut diameter isn't very important. The taper of the lug nut is the same and holds them fine.
