The back DMV fees on it would be a deal killer for me. Also, sounds like it has rust. I'm about 1.5 hours away from him.

Back fees might not be a problem if it goes out of state. In Iowa if it hasn't been registered for three years or more you don't have to pay the back fees, just the current year.

WOW! Not the truck...I`m just shocked you can live in L.A. and be 2 hours from Long Beach.Traffic really is bad out there.

Judging by this guys grasp of the English language this could be a scam. Any running truck in California is worth more than $600. Cheapest I have ever seen in my area was $1000 and it needed a lot of work.

Advertised as a Chevy, it's got GMC sheetmetal...Probably a GMC for sure.

California holds these back I think 10 years in the system so as to collect on the DMV fees; uless it's on a NON-OP...which doensnt sound like this is what he did!

1 its 7 years not 10.

2 dmv will be about $5-600

3 $1000 is not a bad deal.

4 i see LOTS of sub $1k trucks for sale. i got my 71swb for FREE and it was in a ton better shape than that.
