Front Fender ?

I have a dumb question - New to board
When is a OEM front fender to far gone that it's not worth repairing? Mine have both bottoms damaged front bottom and rear bottom, I'm not sure if I should repair or just replace.

Thanks

if you weld and do body work, then only you can answer the question.
If you are paying someone to cut and weld, then let the labor rate + parts answer your question.

Longhorn gave some good advice, and I guess it also depends on what you use the truck for. If you're after show quality paint, I'd say let the pro's do it with quality parts. If it's just a fun daily driver, have a go at it yourself. I made my own patch panels from a 4x8 sheet of 18ga sheetmetal for a friends Chevelle years ago. I taught myself by reading as much as I could and it actually didn't turn out too bad. It was also my first paint job, Black at that.
