camshaft removal
My camshaft seems like it's getting caught on something as i attempt to pull it out. All of my push rods and lifters are out. What am i doing wrong? Any ideas?
Thanks |
Re: camshaft removal
how about the fuel pump push rod

Re: camshaft removal

Re: camshaft removal
Aaron, I see you asking some questions that tell me you're not real familiar with the internals of an engine. We can help some, and we're glad to do it, but do you have anyone local that can oversee what your doing? It would help a ton. A service manual like cdowns said would also be extremely helpful.
I just want to see you get you cam swap (?) done with out a hitch. |
Re: camshaft removal
I'm betting it is the fuel pump pushrod. I've done several cam swaps but on the most recent one about a year ago I forgot about it. I'm getting older - it happens.
