Door Window Question
 

Does the vent window have to come out to put a window in the door? Anyone have any advice on the best way to put it in? Thanks.

That is what the Chilton manual says to do. Once you get the vent window assembly out, the other part is easy. Then you have to put the vent window assembly BACK IN. The first time takes a while. If you have a good paint job, be sure to tape aroung the window before you start to avoid scratching the paint. Don't give up!

Got them in without knocking more paint off. Thanks so much for everyones help. gmcdude that was the BOMB! Again Thanks could not have done it without this.

Have a lot of Band-aids nearby too. I cut the hell out of my arms on that too-small access hole on the inside of the door.
