Ball joint ID help
 

I am going to put drop spindles on my 67 which the PO has already coverted to front disc. Is there any way to look at the ball joints or measure them to know if they are the 67 style or the newer style with out taking the spindle off. Any and all info will help. thanks

I would say that if its an original gm disc setup like off a 71 or 72 than its definitely been converted. If by looking at it the upper looks fairly small than its probably been converted as well. If i was close to my truck i would give you some measurements. I've been through all this hassle. It may not be a bad idea just to replace the ball joints while you are in there as well and then you can put whichever style you want in.
