I already had a 10 bolt rearend that had 5 lug axles in it. The conversion is very straight forward once you get into it. As far as total cost, you can do it for as litte as $200-250 to over $400 depending on what parts you buy. The brackets I bought from a board member captionfab. He sends you a parts list of everything else you need to complete the job (assuming you already have 5 lug axles)

You can easily spend over $700 if you go with all new parts, .... calipers, drilled rotors, ceramic pads, e-brake cables, rubber brake lines, etc .... I've got a complete set (minus 1 caliper) that I may sell, I changed my mind and went with a larger rotor/caliper.

Re: Rear Disk Brakes Installed

I had the backing plates, calipers and rotors origionally powder coated "black chrome." The guy who did it royally messed it up. Not only was the color not black chrome but there was so much trash throughout the powdercoat. I took the parts to another local guy and he re powdered in gloss black. I had to grind or dremmel everywhere things buttoned up because the powder was so thick at this point.
