Anyone ever seen 70-71' CST or Cheyenne door panels that were gold vinyl?
 

Hey guys, we picked up a 70' swb 4x4 and I am considering painting the truck Dark Gold Poly (70' color). The truck originally came with gold interior (kind of a light brown), has anyone ever seen a set of door panels with the woodgrain up top that were this color??? I have a nice pair of seat belts but I don't think they reproduce anything this color for interior. Any leads? Thanks Trevor

I guess the door panels and seat cover could have been Fawn or Sandalwood. Does anyone know what is the more brownish color? I am unfamiliar with any of the tans and whites besides Parchment and Saddle, which I know that these aren't. Oh, and sorry no pics of anything as it's dark and snowy here. Trevor

I guess it could be the 69-70 saddle, which is a more brown color than the 71-72 looking (sorry, turd) brown. Trevor

I had a '70 one time with that interior. It was gold on the outside and that color you are talking about on the inside. It was a very nice original interior, so I never had to look for anything. if I am not mistaken it is a one year only color.

by gold do you mean this?? its a shoot of my guage install but you can still see the dash??

Hottrucks, do you have a shot of your door panels? That's what I am trying to for sure figure out. My dash is close to yours but not sure when I am not looking at it. Trevor

sorry Dude I covered my door panels and did a door swap so there in primer???
I do have a Saddle carpet kit that I can snap a pic of if that helps and maybe a pic of the seat......the seat is kinda a cream color...

hey would a glove box pic help??? its the same as he dash...that pic was just to show Ideas for a radio delete panel....

Jeff, what color is your dash pad? That's the color in question. I didn't know if you were talking about your dash (bronze) or your dash pad. I think it must be sandalwood, but it could be saddle for all I know.

The dark gold I have only seen on maybe 2-3 trucks exterior wise. I find it a very pretty color. Here is a link to a page that shows the color I am thinking about painting the outside of the truck.

ok my cab is like the one in post #58..on the cowl....I would say Copper is what I would call it???

the dash pad is kinda a light brownish..I'll snap a pic of it tomorrow for yea...maybe check the end of my build theres 1 or 2 pics of the inside but they arn't that good..

just let me knw what you want to see...dash pad and my carpet is probably what you want??

Ok, after searching through a lot of old posts, I appears it is sandalwood for sure that is the color I am looking for. Trevor
