Re: short fleet wood bed ?
You will end up with two cross sills up front that bolt to your frame. The rear cross sill thats at the very end of the box and one in front of it, and one shorter reinforcement sill thats shorter between your fender wells. You will end up with the same amount of cross sills as your step side only they will be wider for your fleetside except the reinforcement one whichs is the same as your stepside one. Hope thats not too confusing and helps

Nevermind, read question wrong, not sure how the rear sill in a fleet is held on.

Re: short fleet wood bed ?
Bolts on and welded (tacked)

This is some good general info on bed construction, though. |
Re: short fleet wood bed ?
rear sill is bolted to the frame, wood rests on it and the bedsides bolted under the taillights and the side are tacked near the tailgate mount to prevent them from "spreading"
