changing out the rear leafs?

I am thinking of switching from my stock rear leaf suspension to the coil over set-up, what will I need to do the conversion? Are all the holes already in the farme in a 72 C10 longbed? I found a posi set up but I dont really know what I am looking at.

Thanks guys

Not a difficult swap, but you will need a lot of parts. You will be better off finding a rolling chassis so you can take all of the little stuff. Long or short bed the trailing arm/ coil setup is the same. You should have the trailing arm crossmember already, but you will need the brackets that are connected to it that hold the trailing arms. There are alot of parts involved but they are easy to get. If you were closer, I have everything you need just laying around. The hardest part is the axle saddles. They need to be welded on. I'm not sure if your rear axle has the mounting point for the track bar, but you can just put on an aftermarket one that attached to the shock mount.

I would go with regular coils personally, coil over shocks hooked to factory shock mounts have been known to rip the shock mounts off.
