Fuel Cell Venting Question

My dad has a Jazz fuel cell mounted behind the rear axle. It has an self venting cap on the top. He is about ready to do a rear marker light gas filler and I noticed the S-10 fuel filler has a vent pipe. Does he need to use that since the tank is already vented?

Re: Fuel Cell Venting Question

If he's using the rear filler, then I'm assuming he won't be using the vented cap anymore, soooooo, yes you will need to use the vent. Of course, this all assumes I understand your question, :D.

Re: Fuel Cell Venting Question

No worries, :). I would still get a brass fitting and install in the same location and run it over to vent on the S-10 fuel filler that you are going to use. That way, if it ever overflows through the vent, it will go back in the filler back to the tank....
