Quick Seat Question!

So the '72 burb has the front bench and short second row seat already redone in Blue houndstooth. However, with the new baby coming it is a little bit of a pain to get to the second row seat from the door without getting in, and I could use 3 point seat belts easier if the seat went all the way across the interior. I have a set of Buddy Buckets with good foam that I was saving for the '68 stepper, but may get them reupholstered and use them in the burb. Can I take the front bench seat and bump it back to the second row using the second row brackets? I know I can bump the second row seat back to the third row with the third row brackets I have. I know it would make getting to the third row more difficult by using the wider second row seat. Has anyone used the sliding tracks off the front seat to make the second row slide forward? Then I could just lean the back forward and people could climb into the third row seats? Thanks guys!!
Shawn

Re: Quick Seat Question!

You can move the front seat to the second row but the brackets won't work. you will need to drill new holes in the floor for the front seat to mount. Then you will have a problem getting into the back seat as the front seat is fixed and doesn't fold. So not sure how your 3rd row passengers will get in and out.

Re: Quick Seat Question!

Did you have your seats redone yourself? I'm wanting to do mine, but not sure about it.
Thanks
