How different about 69 and 70 chevy truck
 

Hi all member.
i'm from thailand
i have 1966 chevy truck.
i want to buy new truck but i don't know the new one is 1969 or 1970.
i want to know how it different.
please help me.

They are pretty much exactly the same.
I'm going to assume the vehicle identification number is the same there as it is un the US, if you can post the number, we may be able to decode it.

grill inserts are different... and im pretty sure lighted side markers was an option in 70

lighted markers were standard in 70, optional in 68 and 69
There are a few small differances, but far and few between.
Optional vinal covered door panels had a woodgrain stip in 70, not in 69
vin plate was one piece in 70, 2 piece in 69
grill insert had a small difference, mostly paint in 70 verses 69

The rearends are different also from 69 to 70. I've pulled the axles out of 70 model rearends which are 6/lug and replaced them with 71/72 alxes which are 5/lug.

that was an update half way through 1970... so not all 70 trucks are like that
