New toy...more questions

I have a few questions about this
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...pictureid=6907

I looked at this
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...pictureid=6904

and do not see a line item for these
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...pictureid=6905

And I also don't see a line item for a V8 engine.

Did the 1967 CST package include bucket seats?

Did all the C/20 models come with V8's? Has a one-barrel carb, guessing it's a 283.

Or is this truck not as original and unmolested as I was lead to believe?

Those are buddy buckets. Nice score!

Im pretty sure buckets are part of the CST package. Looks like it has potential, I like it.

you should give me the seat, its not on the spid label:lol:
maybe it was part of the cst package. i founf a 67 cst a while back but buddy buckets were identified on the spid. it had a 327 in it.

Looks nice to me! If you decide you don't want it, PM me to get my address. You can drop it off any time!

The PO told me it was a 327, but don't think he ever checked the numbers. 67slammer's first in line for the seats...oops! not the parts forum, and I think I might keep them

thanks Michael, she's a keeper, an Oklahoma truck.

Did all the C/20 models come with V8's? Has a one-barrel carb, guessing it's a 283.

The base engine for the CE20 was the 283 with a 2-bbl, so it wouldn't be listed on the SPID. The 327 is RPO L30. That "E" is for V8. If it were a CS20, you'd have a straight six (either the 250 or the 292).

Interesting side note: according to my Dealer Data Book, while the 283 was available with the SM420 (RPO M20), the 327 only came with the NP435CR (RPO M28). If this truck is as stock as you were told, that trans and the lack of an engine RPO code says that engine is a 283.

As for the CST (RPO Z84) package, it includes not only buddy buckets but also chrome molding inside & out, padded RH visor, cigar lighter, undercoating, extra insulation in the cab, and padded armrests.
