Restoring GMC Grille
I am working on getting my truck ready for my wedding in May. I was wondering how to revive my dull looking grille. It is factory and has become hazy over the last 4 years. Any suggestions?

Re: Restoring GMC Grille
Try Mothers powerball, works pretty good.

Re: Restoring GMC Grille
I used "0000" steel wool. It is very fine and does not scratch it, but will bring back your shine. You can get a back for a few bucks at Walmart or Lowes.

Rechrome. It`s chromed steel. You can make it a bit better, but they just don`t polish back up well.

Re: Restoring GMC Grille
Mine was buck-nasty from almost 40 years on the farm. I first used a little Wenol and a lot of elbow grease, which worked okay, but then I discovered the magical wonderful world of Mother's Powerball. It's not perfect by any means, but it did shine up real nice and just improves the overall appearance of the truck big time.
