gmc hood latch

hey guys, couple of questions. im collecting parts to switch my 69 chevy front end to a 68 chevy. i got a 68 gmc hood latch and the grille support off of a parts truck i have. will this stuff work? or is the chevy different? also will i need the core support brackets off the frame? i know the bushings are different sizes. thanks for any input.

You can use the hood latch.The only difference is the GMC handles are offset for the upright in the middle of the grille.The center support is different.
