Fender Trimming

Does anyone know a good way to trim fenders to fit bigger tires without them rubbing and still make the truck look good. Post pics if you have them.

I trimmed the wheelwells on my 83 and also filled the side markers up front and removed and re-contured 4" off the lower leading edge of the fender which turned out really nice

Vtblazer did a clean cut on the front of his blazer. A 69-72 body style.

On my 69 the 35s would it the tie rod/ steering box arm. And cause it to bind. It was stock height.

What year is your truck and what size tire do you want or have?

just so you know those tires don't clear properly yet, they are 44 18r15 ground hawgs with 4" suspention and 3" body, the fenders were trimmed to clear 38.5 14.5 16.5 tires without catching the fenders at full articulation, it worked great

Trimmed mine with an angle grinder with .045 cutoff wheels.

I trim the front of the fender where it used to hang down in the bumper. It was just so ugly with no bumper, but couldnt cut it even with the grille but its close(rad. support was in the way i think). The back i just tried to kinda follow the curve and kinda extend it outward, but not as extreme as some do

This is back when it was only lifted about 10-12" with 44" Tsl's
