WTB: Rear crossmember

Looking for the rear most crossmember, that is the last crossmember in the frame.

I don't know if they are all the same, I have a 1968 GMC short fleet, please advise.

Please post pics.

Thanks,

Jon

Re: WTB: Rear crossmember

There is a difference between wood floor bed and metal floor bed.

Re: WTB: Rear crossmember

Just for clarification, are you needing the cross section at the end of the wood bed (where the floor attaches) or are you wanting the last crossmember in the frame?

leaf or coil sprung makes no difference in the bed/bed parts (on a fleetside anyways, I do not know about a step-side). Bump for the OP.

I think I may actually have one of those. I removed mine to make room for the blazer tank and I think I still have it. I will look tomorrow and try to take some pics.

I've got a replacement from Early Classic.

I ordered two and only needed one...it's made out of box tubing, though, instead of a 'z' channel like the factory.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks,

Jim.

I don't know anything about the long bed trucks, I don't know if they are the same.

Rocketking,

If that is the last frame crossmember from a short wood fleet bed, then yea, that is it.

I need that specific crossmember because I am going to buy a custom fuel cell from Boyd or the other guy and the fuel cell is angled at the top to fit inside of that crossmember.

Thanks!

Jon

I have one. It has some surface rust but is in good condition. $15 plus shipping. I will post a pic tomorrow if you still need the frame member.
