Will C-20 body parts work on a C-10?

I have found a good deal on a 1971 C-20. I am thinking about buying it for parts. Can anyone tell me if the doors etc will fit on my 1970 C-10 truck or maybe even the entire cab? (the cab of my C-10 is being held together with spit and bailing wire!)

Shyguy. Thanks for the quick response. One other thought has come to mind. I have a short wheel base stepside bed in good condition (1967) I have heard of guys cutting down the frames and making short wheel base trucks out of long wheel base. Any thoughts?

Not a problem ,as long as you take your time to keep it all square, can weld and have a good welder. There a few threads and articles about it step by step.

I am in the process of converting a C/20 to a SWB fleetside, all sheetmetal interchanges. It is the only way to go IMO.

I bought a '67 C-20 lwb stepper along with a '69 swb frame from one of my grandsons. We swapped all the sheet metal over to the swb frame without a problem, well there was one.

We used the 3/4 ton cab mount bushings on the swb frame. We could not get the right gap/alignment between the front clip and cab. After a little research we found out that the rear cab mount bushings on a 3/4 are thicker than 1/2 ton.
