Lights Issue
I have a Chevy '71 Burb, and I am putting a 67 GMC front clip on it. My dilema is that the GMC setup is dual headlights and the burb is a chevy. How can I wire the headlights up so it will function correctly. My harness has the factory single headlight setup. How and what to do????

Re: Lights Issue
Why not just buy a harness for a gmc?

Attachment 648589 With this setup you just use the high and low beam wires in the harness to trigger the relays then the relays will light the four high beam elements and the two low beam elements. |

Re: Lights Issue
What, you didn't like VetteVet's diagram? Easiest way (not the best way.... you should add relays) is use your existing 3-prong headlamp pigtails for your new high/low lamps... then get a couple two-prong pigtails for your inner (high only) lamps and splice them into the high and ground wires of your 3-prong pigtails.

Re: Lights Issue
I would suggest following VettVets diagram and add relays. It will give you better light output and reduce to power draw running thru the headlight switch. A win win situation.
