No, they are not straight. They are bent at an angle.

72k5zl1 is refering to the bottom lip (see pic) that mounts to the floor pan, I have seen several different vendors repros that are flat on the bottoms instead of having the correct extra two bends that I highlighted in blue. Mel :chevy:

I got to my brackets today, and they definately have the two bends on the underside.

I got them from Classic Industries. If you buy them now, they are on sale for $59 plus shipping. I paid about $80 plus shipping, I think, when I bought mine.
