any recommendations for auto/truck transport?

Hey everyone-I am relocating to White House Tennessee from Cucamonga California in the next month and i need to ship my 67 Camaro(enclosed) and possible my 69 c-20. There are tons of listings for shippers but I would like to hear what others have to say about who they used and any problems-things I should look out for or steps I should take to protect my stuff.

You'll probably use a broker to find a carrier. I would not take the cheapest quote because that could lead to.your truck sitting for awhile. Unless your not in a hurry. Id try to go with a quote in the middle range or upper middle. If you use DAS aka dependable auto shippers be aware your vehical may sit at the origin terminal for a week or to before being assigned to a carrier

Contact Ben and see if he can do it or recommend someone who can. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=96
He is the guy who folks on the HAMB trust to haul their vehicles and is highly recommended. Not cheap but the personal service is worth the price.

Thanks anyone else? I got a quote on the camaro of $1686 form Reliable (the guys that do Barr/Jack. That's pricey-looking for a better deal not cheap but solid and proven shipper that someone has used.;)

I used all day auto transport to ship a truck from california to nc and it was roughly 1300 for inoperable truck, it would have been less if truck was running. They were fast and did a good job in my opinion. Enclosed is going to be more simply because of the enclosure.
