C10 to a CST or Cheyene?

I have a 69 C10 but really like the look of the trim package on the CSTor Cheyenes.Disregarding being "all original"has anyone transformed a C10 with some external trim packages? Is there any obvious disadvantages in doing this? Thanks.

Go for it, it is your truck. People clone Yenkos and Z28's all the time, just dont represent it as something its not come selling time ;)

Just be honest, and call it a clone. Then you can make it the truck of your dreams. I think you can even buy S.P.I.D stickers. When you are done, tell the people what you did.

Just make it a CST and not a Cheyenne unless you want to make it be a '71 looking truck. CSTs and Cheyennes are the same thing, just different years. I decided not to but a really nice restored '69 SWB Fleetside K/10 because the guy put Cheyenne Badges on it when CSTs would have been just right. Well, that and the Rhino-Liner with cottage cheese texture.
