It's a cool truck. Been for sale for a while. Kinda surprised...leads me to believe there's something wrong with it in person....

It probably was a quick rig restore but it looks like a nice truck.

I have a 1972 chevy 3 door crew cab long bed c20. It's 1 of 62 built by a coach company
Doesn't look like any of the other's I've seen??? Looks to be another cut down suburban. Still really cool though.

Looks like a nice truck and does appear to be a suburban conversion..

there is no way it isn't a cut down suburban. Wonder where he got his production numbers

As rare as it is, and as lacking in motorvation....why not think (it's free) about going with a Duramax/Allison combo. It's only a dream, anyway.

For sure, that thing deserves the D/A combo.

Having an original conversion and a Suburban conversion I would say that it was a Suburban conversion too.

A frame off restoration would not need to be redone due to the "clear coat has start to come off".

Re: rare craigslist find (not mine)

barrett-jackson quality vehicles are common in arizona since we have the auction once a year, so to some people, clear coat coming of the frame is a huge deal.

Something has to be wrong it it's been listed for long at that price.

Re: rare craigslist find (not mine)

There is a lot wrong with the truck. I wanted to do a BB and 4x4 conversion on it. I was scared off by the honest answers to my questions from the owner. For starters the vehicle has been rolled and was not fixed correctly prior to the current owner. (massive amounts of bondo.) From the description I thought the cab was sprung. Someone with serious body skills could probably make a great truck out of it. It is way beyond what I wanted to take on. The young man selling the truck disclosed everything about the truck that he knew. That was refreshing.

glad to hear the owner was honest...

....a shame the PO did that and really that is something that should be disclosed in the ad...

it's nice when people are actually honest when selling their trucks.
