Newbie

New to the forum. Have a couple questions. Will a 1 ton cab fit on my short wheel base 1/2 ton frame? If I start from scratch on a cab that came off 1970 truck will I be able to license the 70 truck as a 72 by replacing the VIN plate from my junk 72 cab ?

The cab will fit. There are some differences in the cabs but they are minor.

Can't do it by law, but i won't say it hasn't been done. If you have all the proper paperwork, then DOL shouldn't have a problem with how it is titled. WES

Welcome from the Corn State! You will need to contact your Department Of Motor Vehicles (or whatever TN calls theirs) and find out what procedures you need to take to do that...
